Zero Trust Reinforced: Zscaler Launches Advanced Security Solutions

India, June 13, 2025: Zscaler, Inc. (NASDAQ: ZS), the leader in cloud security, today announced a new suite of solutions that enable customers to quickly adopt Zero Trust Everywhere. These innovations extend the reach of true Zero Trust and enable businesses to modernize and scale securely by providing end-to-end segmentation between and inside branches and enhance security across multi-cloud environments.

Organizations are increasingly distributed, rapidly adopting IoT, OT, and multi-cloud architectures and grappling with increasing digital complexity. Zscaler has unveiled innovative updates to the Zscaler Zero Trust Exchange™ platform, empowering businesses to extend Zero Trust Everywhere—across users, applications, devices, clouds, and branch locations. These enhancements make an organization’s branches and clouds invisible to bad actors, and eliminate the lateral movement of threats like ransomware within the organization’s network.

With its expanded capabilities to strengthen Zero Trust Everywhere, Zscaler is advancing its cybersecurity postures, simplifying security network infrastructure, and making it easier for businesses to scale securely in today’s rapidly changing threat landscape.

The following Zero Trust solutions—highlighted at Zenith Live 2025—are now generally available or accessible for select use cases by Zscaler customers.

  • Unified Appliance for Zero Trust Branch: Zscaler’s Zero Trust Branch redefines enterprise security and networking with a unified appliance that secures communications between branches, campuses, and factories, and segments OT and IoT devices within them including legacy OT, with no downtime. The solution also provides newly introduced disposable jumpboxes that enables contractors secure, time-bound access to critical systems. By eliminating the need for firewalls, legacy NAC, cumbersome VLAN configurations and VDI for remote access, organizations can stop lateral threat movement with unparalleled efficacy. This approach not only elevates security, but also dramatically reduces complexity and costs, empowering businesses to modernize and scale faster without compromise. Unified Appliance for Zero Trust Branch is generally available.
  • Zero Trust Gateway for Cloud Workloads: This cloud-native service on AWS enables organizations to secure communications from workload to the internet, and East-West traffic between workloads and VPCs/VNETs, in under 10 minutes without deploying agents or VMs with a Zscaler managed offering. This strengthens security in hybrid and multi-cloud environments, allowing organizations to reduce the attack surface associated with firewalls, and eliminate complexity and secure workload communications. Zero Trust Gateway is generally available.
  • Zscaler Micro segmentation for Cloud Workloads: Zscaler further extends AI-driven segmentation to cloud workloads with newly introduced host-based Micro segmentation service that provides granular host and process level segmentation policies using its AI- powered Segmentation engine for Workloads in public clouds such as AWS and Azure as well as on-premise Data Center based workloads that run on bare metal. Zscaler Workload agent provides process and workload level metrics, traffic flows as well device context, that protects crown jewels against lateral threats and compromise. Zscaler Micro segmentation is generally available.
  • Zero Trust Exchange for B2B: The introduction of B2B Exchange revolutionizes secure collaboration by providing a cutting-edge app-sharing platform for partner organizations, eliminating the need for outdated technologies like MPLS circuits or VPNs that come with complexity and the risk of oversharing. This solution accelerates seamless, secure connections between enterprises, empowering organizations to drive faster, more efficient mergers, acquisitions, and partnerships while safeguarding sensitive data. Zero Trust Exchange for B2B is available for select use cases, with extended capabilities coming soon.

“Zscaler’s latest innovations for the Zero Trust Exchange truly extends Zero Trust Everywhere beyond users and redefines the enterprise security and networking by seamlessly unifying operations, strengthening threat defenses, and enabling secure connectivity across users, devices, applications, branches, and clouds with better visibility and experience—no matter how complex or distributed the environment,” said Dhawal Sharma, EVP Product Strategy, Zscaler. “With this expanded Zero Trust Everywhere approach, organizations can accelerate security modernization, mitigate risks, and protect data everywhere business happens.”

Celebrating Craft: Handloom Festival ‘India Woven in Colours’ Begins June 13

New Delhi – The National Design Centre (NDC), with the support of the Development Commissioner (Handlooms), Ministry of Textiles, Government of India, is organizing a grand Special Handloom Expo from 13th June to 21st June 2025 at the iconic Handloom Haat, Janpath, New Delhi. This nine-day event, themed “India Woven in Colours”, will celebrate the enduring artistry, culture, and heritage of India’s handloom sector. Open daily from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., the expo promises an immersive experience into the world of traditional weaves, directly connecting skilled weavers with discerning urban and global audiences.

The expo is a curated initiative to support and showcase languishing weaves—those traditional textile techniques and patterns that are at risk of being forgotten. By offering a platform to over 75 exhibitors, including individual weavers, self-help groups (SHGs), cooperative societies, and handloom producers from across India, the event seeks to preserve craft traditions while generating livelihoods for the artisan communities. These weavers will bring with them unique stories and techniques passed down through generations, displayed in the form of sarees, shawls, stoles, tweeds, dress materials, and exquisite cotton and silk fabrics.

The primary objective of the expo is to provide both national and international market linkages to the artisans by bridging the gap between producers and end consumers, exporters, wholesalers, and retail buyers. In doing so, it also promotes transparency and fair trade by removing middlemen and encouraging direct engagement. Whether it’s a boutique buyer looking for sourcing opportunities or an individual customer wanting to wear ethically made textiles, the expo is designed to cater to all.

Beyond just a commercial platform, the Special Handloom Expo is also a cultural initiative. Visitors will not only have the chance to shop but also to understand the incredible diversity of Indian handlooms—from the fine cottons of Bengal to the textured wool tweeds of the Northeast, and from elegant stoles to vibrant silk sarees from the South. It is a chance to witness India’s cultural tapestry brought alive in color, motif, and material — all handwoven with dedication and tradition.

As the demand for sustainable, handmade, and local products continues to rise globally, this initiative by the Ministry of Textiles and the National Design Centre stands as a meaningful step in empowering weavers and safeguarding India’s textile heritage

Bandhan Mutual Fund Highlights Indian Stocks as Global Top Performers

Mumbai  India  June 13, 2025:  India has been the top performing market globally over the 3 months ending May 2025, significantly outperforming the emerging markets index and the world and developed market indices. As compared to a 16% gain for India, world and developed markets rose by a meagre 2% while emerging markets rose 5% in the 3-month period ending May 2025, says the latest Bandhan Mutual Fund Monthly Market Outlook.

India is also the top performing market over a longer period of 5 years, delivering US dollar returns of 18%, beating the 12% return of the world and developed markets and delivering more than 4X the emerging market returns. According to the Bandhan Mutual Fund Market Outlook, India’s returns from the lows hit on March 20 (see table below)

In May, China stood out amongst major markets globally by falling 2%, whilst other major global markets saw gains.

In terms of market capitalisation, small caps have given the best returns over the last 3 months, 5 years and since March 2020. Mid caps were the second-best-performing capitalisation category over the same period, followed by the large caps (see table below).

In May 2025, while most sectoral indices showed gains, utilities gave almost flat returns, while metals were marginally negative. In contrast, industrials, capital goods and telecom all delivered double-digit gains in May, while the lowest positive gains in the sector were delivered by the traditionally defensive sectors of FMCG, Healthcare and IT.

India’s Services Purchasing Manager’s Index (PMI) increased m-o-m, indicating a service sector recovery. Conversely, the Manufacturing PMI declined m-o-m, indicating a slowdown in the manufacturing sector. Continued weakness in the US$, falling interest rates in the domestic economy, and earnings broadly in line with muted expectations helped drive the market higher in May 2025, said the fund house in its June 2025 market outlook.

“We expect continued volatility during the next couple of quarters, as the US continues to sign trade deals. While economic activity has remained strong due to the front-loading of global trade, there could be significant disruptions as the tariffs come into force. The domestic economy seems to be turning around and is much better placed than the global economy,” said Manish Gunwani, Head Equities, Bandhan AMC.

On the fiscal front, India’s FY25 central government accounts met the revised estimate of 4.8% of GDP, with the FY26 deficit budgeted at 4.4%. Inflation data showed negative momentum in CPI food prices for the sixth consecutive month, and core inflation inched up. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) forecasts an ‘above-normal’ southwest monsoon, contributing to a benign inflation outlook. Bank credit outstanding as of May 16, 2025 grew 9.8% YoY, with deposits up 10% YoY.

“The recent surprise 50 bps rate cut and 100 bps CRR cut by the RBI underscore a proactive stance to ensure rapid monetary transmission, aiming to support growth, said Suyash Choudhary, Head fixed income, Bandhan AMC.

Father’s Day Fun: CARS24 Reserves Parking for the Car Dad Deserves

CARS24 Nails Father’s Day with Parking Spot Tribute to Dads

Gurugram, 13th June 2025:  This Father’s Day, while most brands chase applause with offers and emotional ads, CARS24 is choosing sarcasm. The kind that hits just right.

Across Delhi and Bengaluru, unsuspecting visitors to markets and malls were met with an unusual sight: parking spots that were blocked off with simple signs that read: “Reserved. For the car you should have gifted your dad.”

Instead of putting up giant emotional billboards, CARS24 chose parking lots; the one place dads still visit in their 12-year-old cars with broken horns and faded dashboards. Because the truth is, they never ask for upgrades. And most kids… never offer.

The activation was designed as a quiet punch to the gut. Just enough to make people stop mid-scroll or mid-parking and think: “Damn. It is time that our dad drives a better car.

Most fathers in India don’t upgrade easily. Not their phones, not their shoes, and definitely not their cars. The suspension creaks, the stereo is still old school, but they will make it work. Because that is what they do.

“Everyone’s too busy upgrading their own life. Meanwhile, dad is still reverse parking without sensors,” said Gajendra Jangid, Co-founder & CMO, CARS24. “We didn’t want to sell a car. We wanted to make children think and maybe do something about it.”

In an ecosystem flooded with Father’s Day campaigns telling people to “do more,” CARS24 chose to say less, trusting the message (and the parking spot) to do the heavy lifting.

If the campaign made someone pause, smile, or think twice that is all it was meant to do. Well, that and maybe finally upgrade the man who never asked.

Marine Conservation in Action: ibis India’s Ocean Day Clean-Up Drive

ibis India Rallies for Cleaner Seas on World Ocean Day 2025

13 June 2025: In celebration of World Ocean Day 2025, ibis India reaffirmed its commitment to sustainability with a nationwide coastal clean-up initiative. Ten ibis hotels across Mumbai, Chennai, Goa and Kochi united with local non-governmental organisations (NGOs) to carry out large-scale beach clean-ups, mobilising more than 600 volunteers and collecting over 500 kilograms of waste in a single day.

Reflecting this year’s global theme, “Wonder: Sustaining What Sustains Us”, the campaign highlighted the importance of protecting marine ecosystems and preserving the natural environments that support life on Earth.

With several ibis hotels located near beaches and waterfronts, the brand sees firsthand the effects of ocean pollution. The clean-up not only removed harmful waste, but also raised awareness within local communities and supported wider efforts to restore ocean health.

“At ibis, sustainability is not just an initiative; it is part of our brand DNA,” said Tejus Jose, Director of Operations, ibis and ibis Styles India. “This clean-up drive was about more than removing waste; it was a meaningful step towards preserving marine life and inspiring conversations that lead to lasting change. We believe hospitality can and should make a difference.”

In addition to the clean-up, ibis hotels facilitated public awareness sessions on marine pollution and hosted interactive activities with school children, fishermen and tourists to encourage long-term behavioural change and collective environmental responsibility.

Collective Artists Network Launches Radhika Subramaniam — India’s First Bilingual AI Travel Influencer

Mumbai, 11th June 2025 — Collective Artists Network, India’s leading new media company, has announced the launch of Radhika Subramaniam, the country’s first AI travel influencer — and the first virtual personality in India to speak both English and Tamil.

Radhika is the latest in Collective’s growing universe of virtual creators. She follows the introduction of Kavya, a millennial AI personality known for her polished aesthetic and premium, luxury-forward storytelling. While Kavya speaks to an audience drawn to aspiration and style, Radhika is all heart — a Gen Z solo traveller chasing stories, culture, and self-discovery.

Radhika Subramaniam image 03

Built with a backstory that many young Indians will relate to, Radhika left behind a steady corporate job to travel across the country. She’s curious, grounded, and drawn to the little things — local legends, hidden cafes, street-side crafts, small-town festivals. Through her lens, everyday India becomes something worth pausing for.

“Radhika feels like someone we all know — that one friend who took the leap and actually went on the trip. She’s thoughtful, independent, and interested in the world around her. With her, we wanted to build more than just a new kind of influencer — we wanted to create someone who could tell stories with heart, and make people feel seen,” said Vijay Subramaniam, Founder and Group CEO of Collective Artists Network.

Her bilingual voice allows her to move seamlessly between regions and communities, and makes her relatable to a much wider audience. She speaks like someone from here — because she is.

For brands, this opens up new ways to connect. Whether it’s a tourism board bringing attention to overlooked destinations, or a young Indian brand telling a story rooted in place and identity — Radhika offers consistent, culturally aware content that’s always ready to go. “There’s a warmth to Radhika that’s hard to fake. She’s not just spitting out trends or trying to be viral — she actually gets the context,” said Sudeep Subhash, Chief Revenue Officer at Collective Artists Network and CEO of Big Bang Social. “For brands, that’s gold. You get someone who’s always on, always in sync with your voice — but also genuinely engaging for the audience. That kind of storytelling at scale is really exciting.”

Radhika is just getting started, but her arrival marks a bigger shift — where storytelling is no longer limited by the traditional rules of influence, and where AI can be used to create characters who truly connect. With this launch, Collective continues to build what’s next in media — one thoughtful, synthetic storyteller at a time.
